the versatile painter Shannon goes deep into her craft. When designing on a canvas, bag, shoe and many more. Shannon reaches beyond her limits. Digging into an artistic skill that will bring the joy out of her clients. From friends to family, she always puts her best work in no matter the person. Based out of Newark, NJ she's always been around the creative element to produce for herself and others. Shannon has her twist with each creation. Mixing culture with imagination.
STYLE
No one inspires me to create. I feel as though as an artist you have to have a willingness to create, it’s something that comes naturally to you. You may have people who inspire you but everybody does, it doesn’t mean they create. I look at artists that aren’t just the visual artist but creators in life. Such as in what they wear, if they are drawing but how are they inspiring people as well. So artists like Chris Brown, Takashi Murakami, Roy Lichtenstien etc. My style is pop art/ realism I guess. I don’t know what to say. I like to do different things and I am an artist who studied different mediums and techniques so if I have to do something different I don’t mind.
CURRENT EVENTS
On Nov.11, 2022, Shannon put together an art exhibition titled "Concrete." This showcase was made to celebrate art from people who come from a place not recognized as great. Shannon and 12 other artists carried the show with performances from dancing to singing.
